When not in use, this crane, in the folded position, will only take up approximately 24" x 40" of floor space. There are some purchased parts required to build this product. A slip hook (we used a Crosby S314-A) and a 8 ton crane jack. This crane requires a Clevise Bottom 8 Ton Longstroke Hydraulic Jack with a collapsed height of 24-1/4" and an extended height of 44-1/4 inches.
